The Society Against the Complete Bastardization of Rufus Shinra

Lark: "During some point you must have read a fic where poor Rufus was depicted as a thoroughly evil and horrible person."

Rufus: *frowns* "I'm misunderstood!"

Lark: "Let me do the talking, dear. Anyway, as I was saying, I don't like reading about how Rufus is evil and mean and beating up his employees or raping them and such. (Yes, I've seen that. More times than I would like.... *shudders*) I maintain that Rufus isn't so bad, that he's a misunderstood bad guy, and if anyone should be bastardized and made completely evil, it should be Hojo or Scarlet or Heidegger."

Rufus: "I'm with you!"

Lark: "So I founded the Society Against the Complete Bastardization of Rufus Shinra. I'm the Co-founder of another society of this sort, but that's for Gundam Wing. Anyway, my basic goal is to gather together people who feel Rufus shouldn't be horribly bashed . If you want to join, here's what you do:

1. Take the official oath and make sure you agree with the terms:

I,____________ do solemnly swear that I will never *ever* write a fanfic where Rufus is bastardized and I won't be too thrilled with any I read by other people either. I also promise to turn in members of the society who break the rules to the Turks, who will proceed to force that person to work on Shinra's newest Mako reactor. I understand that if I ever break the rules I will also face these consequences.

2. E-mail me with your name, and website (if you have one). Please put something like Rufus Society in the heading so I don't go delete happy on you.

3. If  you have a website, take the banner, stick it on your site, and link it back to http://turksrock.tripod.com/soc/rufuss.html. That way others can join up and we can protect our favorite President!
