THE POISIONING OF DOMA CASTLE

When this happened, I threw a fit of royal proportions. This cemented my hatred for Kefka, and I hate his guts to this day. That was just a truly heartless act, and it really got to me. It also made me really feel for Cyan, and he's one of my favorite characters because of it. I could really see where he was coming from.

CLOUD'S STORY OF SEPHIROTH AT NIBELHEIM

Of course this would be on the list. How can you not be affected when Sephiroth goes back and starts whacking at the cylinders at the reactor with his sword, or when they show him reading all the books in the library, or when they show him in the flames, going off to free his mother. This is one of the greatest parts in the game, and FF history.

SEPHIROTH DESCRIBES HIS PLAN

The diolouge between Sephiroth and Tseng at this part is great. "Can you do that?" Truly shows you just how mad Sephiroth has become and really opens up a lot more of the story. Then there's the part where Tseng gets stabbed.... *sniff* And I have to admit--the line Sephiroth says while doing so is great too.

THE CRATER
(Final Fantasy Seven)
It's a bitch to get there, but once you do, it's awesome. Sephiroth showing Cloud what really happened--and Cloud not believing him while Tifa's struggling with what she knows. Then you get to the center, and Shinra and *shudder* Hojo's there and they all watch as meteor is summoned and they have no choice but to run, leaving a demented Cloud behind.

LUCRETIA'S CAVE

I always look forward to this, and it's not only because I love Vincent. The flashback with Lucretia being stolen by Hojo is great, of course, but it's Lucretia describing tha pain she went through afterwards that's really sad, especially when she talks about Sephiroth. The best part is when she asks if Sephiroth is alive, Vincent steps forward and says "he is dead, Lucretia". The first time I saw that I was in shock for a good minute aftwards.

RUFUS DIES

And it's not here just because I like Rufus! You think I like to see him die?! No! The reason why it's good is because of the two seconds they show his eyes narrowing right before he's blown up. It's like he's saying to WEAPON 'I'm more powerful than you are--you can't destroy me' and then, two seconds later, he's ashes. *sniff* Rufus!

EVERYONE COMES BACK

How happy and uplifting is it when everyone returns to fight Sephiroth? You really felt like a team at that moment! (Okay, I realize I take the game too seriously)

THE DANCE

To me, this is the best part of the game. Why? Because it's so cool! It's really an awesome FMV, and Squall's so cute and funny in it. ^^

IRVINE CAN'T SHOOT

I was throwing a *fit* when Irvine said he couldn't take the shot!! But that really was a great part when he just let out the true Irvine Kinneas. Not such a big shot afterall! Oh well, I love him anyway.

TRABIA GARDEN BASKETBALL COURT

I really like the part where they have that conversation about the orphanage and why they have to fight Edea. Charlie-Brown-loser-Squall is so cute. And you can see how Zell and Seifer never changed... Also more insight into how Irvine really is a serious person when it comes down to it.

THE RAGNAROK

No, I'm not talking about walking around and fighting those asslancing propagators. I'm talking about that part on the bridge where Rinoa is flirting with Squall big time on the bridge and he morphs back into super jerk even though he exclaimed "I've never felt this way in my life!" not ten minutes before! Anyway, "Eyes on Me" plays in the background with the lyrics and everything, and then Rinoa has to tell Squall she's become a Sorceress...

RESCUE AT THE SORCERESS MEMORIAL

This was a beautiful FMV too. Squall whacks at that thing with his gunblade, and then they hug. See, Squall's not a jerk all the time!

THE ENDING

How beautiful was the ending? Everything about it was great!! Not only was it touching and that junk, it was funny too! It was great to see Seifer was back to normal, it was great to see Zell finally got some darn hot dogs, and finally, it was great to see Squall *gasp* SMILE! This ending was worth my 64 hours of work any day!

THE MALE "BONDING" SESSION

If you played the game, think of the part with Zidane and Vivi in Madin Sari. *snorts* If you haven't played the game... I can't tell you what happened... Only that it was funny as hell.

Lark: "I'm not gonna let *every* FF character tell their favorite part, otherwise we'd be here all day. So, I decided to let ten of them go."

Sephiroth: "ME FIRST!"

Lark: *annoyed sigh* "Sephiroth first."

Sephiroth: "My favorite part is from FF7, of course, and it's when I kill Aeris!" *grins* "How cool did I look there? I mean, come on, I looked *awesome*!"

Lark: "Yeah, real nice, Seph. Go ahead, Irvine."

Irvine: "My favorite part is from FF8 when we had the awesome concert. We rocked, no matter what Rinoa says!!"

Lark: "See, that was nice. Go ahead, Rufus."

Rufus: "My favorite part was when Sephiroth brutally murdered my father." *smiles*

Sephiroth: "Yeah, that was a good part too."

Lark: *hits herself in the forehead* "Ugh. Go, Zell."

Zell: "Yo, the ending of FF8 was the best cause I got a hot dog!!"

Lark: "I somehow knew he was gonna say that."
